Buoy
This is a buoy prop I made for my gaming internship. It was mildly challenging modeling the inner light area because I tried to make it all part of the same object. I used Substance Designer and Substance Painter to texture it using the Position ID technique. With this technique all the artist needs to do is to select the UV shell that needs to be textured on the Position ID map, and Painter automatically assigns your selected material to that area. I textured this model in about 30 minutes using this style.
