GIF CASE STUDY
After Effects GIF Case Study
It was brought to my attention recently that I should learn 2D animation. My software of choice to do this was After Effects because of its popularity, and I really want to learn the interface. This GIF is an approximate copy of one done by Emanuele Colombo on YouTube to show his creative process. Unfortunately there is no sound on Emanuele's video, which made learning the interface challenging. I'm very happy with what I've learned thus far and look forward to doing more animation.

ARM ANIMATION

Arm Animation
This is an animation I did for Deft Films as freelance work for a commercial. The commercial was supposed to be on a national shopping network to promote a product that had been featured on Shark Tank. The arm and towel were modeled in Maya. Textures were made in Substance Painter, except for the tiles, which were done in Substance Designer. Compositing and rendering were done in After Effects.

FISHIN' FOR TROUBLE
Fishin' For Trouble
I did this as part of a group animation project for school. I was responsible for modeling and texturing the environment, lighting, and keyframing the animation for the camera and fish. Everything was done in Maya, except for the title sequence, which was made with After Effects. Rendering was in After Effects as well.
